Lou Holtz

Lou Holtz was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Holtz worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Coach" (ABC, 1989-97) "Rudy" (1993) with Sean Astin (1993). He went on to act in "Coach Osborne: More Than Winning" (PBS, 1999), "Regis Philbin: Made For TV" (1998) and "New Year's Eve Live!" (Fox, 2005). More recently, Holtz acted in the Sandra Bullock hit dramatic adaptation "The Blind Side" (2009). Lou Holtz died on March 4, 2026 in Orlando, FL at the age of 89.
