Lou Walker
Lou Walker was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. He had a part on the television special "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry" (ABC, 1977-78). He also starred in the TV movies "Benny's Place" (ABC, 1981-82) and "Maid in America" (CBS, 1982-83). He also landed roles in various films, such as "Redneck Miller" (1977) with Geoffrey Land and "Brainstorm" (1983) with Christopher Walken. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Doorman" (1986) with Sharon Schlarth, "Hiding Out" (1987) and the dramatic period piece "Mississippi Burning" (1988) with Gene Hackman. He also landed a role in the miniseries "North and South" (1985-86). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Joe Pesci comedy "My Cousin Vinny" (1992) and the Tom Cruise blockbuster drama "The Firm" (1993). He also was featured in the TV movies "Murder in Mississippi" (NBC, 1989-1990) and "Somebody Has to Shoot the Picture" (HBO, 1990-91). Walker most recently acted in the Denzel Washington smash hit sports drama "Remember the Titans" (2000).
