Louis De Rochemont
Documentary filmmaker who created the highly respected "March of Time" newsreel series with Roy E. Larsen in 1934. Some of de Rochement's later narrative features, like "The House on 92nd Street" (1945) and "Lost Boundaries" (1949), displayed stylistic affinities with the Italian neorealist movement due to their gritty social content and use of location shooting.
