Maria Diaz
Maria Diaz was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. At the start of her acting career, Diaz appeared on television comedies like "Martin" (Fox, 1991-97). She also was featured in the miniseries "Drug Wars: The Cocaine Cartel" (1991-92). A few of her roles at the time were also in movies like the Keenen Ivory Wayans action movie "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" (1988). She also starred in the TV movies "The Fear Inside" (1991-92), "The Heroes of Desert Storm" (ABC, 1991-92) and "Love, Lies and Lullabies" (ABC, 1992-93). She also appeared in "Rio Diablo" (CBS, 1992-93). She also lent her voice to "Car 54, Where Are You?" (1994). Diaz took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1996), the Owen Wilson dramatic adaptation "The Minus Man" (1999) and the drama "Crazy/Beautiful" (2001) with Kirsten Dunst. She also was featured in the TV movie "Extramarital" (HBO, 1997-98). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Fame L.A." (1997-98). Most recently, Diaz appeared in "Show Me a Hero" (2014).
