Mark Dempsey
Perhaps best known on the soccer field, Mark Dempsey also had a career in entertainment. Dempsey marked his early career with roles in the comedy "Palm Springs Weekend" (1963) with Troy Donahue and "Star Trek" (NBC, 1966-69). Dempsey also appeared in "The Prodigal" (1984), the Bob Hoskins and Christopher Lloyd smash hit "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (1988) and "Things Behind The Sun" (Showtime, 2000-01). More recently, Dempsey worked on "Downton Abbey" (PBS, 2011-16).
