Mark O'Connor worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Influences: George Jones and Randy Travis" (1991-92), "The Kennedy Center Honors: A Celebration of the Performing Arts" (CBS, 1991-92) and "Country Music Hall of Fame 25" (CBS, 1991-92). He also appeared in "The Best of Country '92: Countdown at the Neon Armadillo" (ABC, 1992-93). His career progressed to film, including a role in the Roberta Guaspari-Tzavaras documentary "Small Wonders" (1996). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Willie Nelson The Big Six-O: An All-Star Birthday Celebration" (1992-93), "Grand Ole Opry 70th Anniversary" (CBS, 1995-96) and "Neil Diamond... Under a Tennessee Moon" (ABC, 1995-96). O'Connor had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "Disney's Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra" (Disney, 1996-97), "Music of the Heart" with Meryl Streep (1999) and the Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger box office smash "The Patriot" (2000). His credits also expanded to "Gods and Generals" (2003) and "Walk the Talk" (2003). O'Connor most recently appeared on "The National Parks: America's Best Idea" (2009-2010).
