Marlene Warfield was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Warfield's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as "Joe" (1970), the adaptation "The Great White Hope" (1970) with James Earl Jones and the Anthony Quinn action picture "Across 110th Street" (1972). She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Cutter" (NBC, 1971-72) and "Goodbye, Raggedy Ann" (CBS, 1971-72). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "Maude" (CBS, 1972-78). Her film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like the dramatic comedy "Network" (1976) with Faye Dunaway, "Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life Is Calling" (1986) and "How I Got Into College" (1989). She also landed a role in the miniseries "The Sophisticated Gents" (1981-82). She also starred in the TV movies "Child's Cry" (CBS, 1985-86) and "Perry Mason: The Case of the Lethal Lesson" (NBC, 1988-89). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "ER" (1994-2009), "In the House" (UPN, 1994-97) and "So Weird" (Disney, 1998-2001).
