Michael Drumm
Director and producer Michael Drumm is a specialist in long-form concert documentaries spanning standup comedy, music performances, and awards shows. The founder of Music Link Productions, a Denver-based video and audio post-production house, Drumm has worked on over 50 commercially released DVD titles since the early '00s. A frequent collaborator with some of the biggest names in standup comedy and music, among the filmmaker's best-known works are Emmy-nominated HBO specials for political satirist Bill Maher (2005's "I'm Swiss") and funnywoman Wanda Sykes (2006's "Sick and Tired"); slickly produced concert films for rockers Panic! At the Disco, Tom Petty, and Dave Matthews; and rapid-fire concert documents of such politically incorrect comics as Carlos Mencia and Ralphie May. In 2009 Drumm wrapped his debut feature film, "Natasha Kizmet: The Movie," a comedy mockumentary about a naïve Uzbek girl who arrives in America to find fame and fortune.
