Michael Witney was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. In the beginning of his acting career, Witney starred in comedies like "Darling Lili" (1970). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies, appearing in "Doc" (1971) with Stacy Keach and "Head On" (1971). He also appeared in the TV special "Miss Stewart, Sir" (CBS, 1971-72). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Catcher" (NBC, 1971-72). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "W" (1974) and the Tom Smothers comedy "There Goes the Bride" (1979). Most recently, Witney acted on "Turks" (CBS, 1998-99).
