Muriel Smith
Muriel Smith made her mark in the world of entertainment when she worked on "South Pacific" (1958). In 1956, she appeared on the cover of "Jet" magazine. In 1943, she made her Broadway debut in "Carmen Jones." In 1949, she moved to London and appeared in two revues at Cambridge Theatre in the West End. In 1956, she made her operatic debut in "Carmen" at the Royal Opera House in a performance that was broadcast live on BBC Radio.
