Nancy Hamilton
Nancy Hamilton brought her musical talents to a variety of films over the course of her Hollywood career. Hamilton worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Du Barry Was a Lady" (1943) starring Red Skelton, "Enola Gay" (NBC, 1980-81) and "First Family" (1980) starring Gilda Radner. She also contributed to "Fools for Scandal" (1938), "Mad Magazine Presents: Up the Academy" with Ron Leibman (1980) and "The Unconquered" (1954). In the eighties, Hamilton's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the comedy "Porky's" (1981) with Dan Monahan, the Peter O'Toole comedy "My Favorite Year" (1982) and the dramatic adaptation "Biloxi Blues" (1988) with Matthew Broderick. Her work was also in the dramedy "Eat a Bowl of Tea" (1989) with Cora Miao. Hamilton's music was most recently used in the Sandra Bullock blockbuster dramatic adaptation "The Blind Side" (2009). Hamilton passed away in February 1985 at the age of 77.
