Peter Moland was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Moland started off his career in film with roles in the Ulli Lommell drama "Love Is Colder Than Death" (1969), the dramatic adaptation "Das Kaffeehaus" (1970) with Margit Carstensen and the Harry Baer biographical drama "Ludwig - Requiem Fur einen jungfraulichen Konig" (1972). Moland then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "The Pedestrian" (1974) with Gustav Rudolf Sellner, the historical feature "Hitler, Ein film aus Deutschland" (1977) with Heinz Schubert and "Tarot" (1986). He also appeared in the Brigitte Mira romance "Ali: Fear Eats the Soul" (1989), "Gods of the Plague" (1989) and "Katzelmacher" (1989) with Hanna Schygulla. Later in his career, Moland acted in the drama "Warum Lauft Herr R. Amok?" (1989) with Kurt Raab.
