Philip Brown
Philip Brown was an actor most commonly known for his memorable roles in television. Brown kickstarted his acting career with roles in various television comedies, such as "The Doris Day Show" (CBS, 1968-1973) and "When the Whistle Blows" (ABC, 1979-1980). He also appeared in the TV movie "Special Olympics" (CBS, 1977-78). Brown began his entertainment career acting in films like the comedy "Pretty Maids All in a Row" (1971) with Rock Hudson. In the eighties, he shifted his entertainment career towards more dramatic roles, appearing on "The Colbys" (ABC, 1985-87) and "L.A. Law" (NBC, 1986-1994). As his entertainment career progressed, he appeared in "Dune Surfer" (1989). During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles on "Sisters" (1990-96), "Step by Step" (CBS, 1991-98) and "The City" (ABC, 1995-97). He also appeared in "Wild Zone" (1989). Brown most recently appeared in "Winner Takes All" (BET, 1999-2000).
