Philippe Lacheau
Frenchman Philippe Lacheau first shot to fame as a television host before showcasing his funnyman skills in the comedy troupe La Bande à Fifi and as the writer, director and star of the hugely successful "Babysitting" (2014) movie franchise. Born in Fontenay-sous-Bois, Val-de-Marne in 1980, Lacheau first appeared on a screen as a competitor on TV presenter showcase "Casting Live" (M6, 2001-04) and subsequently landed his first major role alongside Audrey Sarrat as the co-host of "Total Fun" (Fun TV, 2000-02). Following a brief stint on Saturday morning show "Pour le meilleur et pour le fun" (M6, 2001-02), Lacheau joined comedy troupe La Bande à Fifi, which became a regular fixture on flagship talk show "Le Grand Journal" (Canal+, 2004-), and hosted "Chut chut chut!" (W9, 2009), an adaptation of a Japanese game show. Lacheau then moved into the film world with a bit part in the romance "Heartbreaker" (2010) and a commentator role in Tour de France comedy "La Grande Boucle" (2013) before earning his first writing credit on "Paris à tout prix" (2013), a cross-cultural tale about a Parisian fashionista deported back to Morocco, in which he also played Alexandra's boyfriend Firmin. Lacheau continued to prove he was a man of many talents when he co-penned, co-directed and starred as party animal/reluctant babysitter Franck in found-footage bromance "Babysitting" (2014), a huge box-office hit described as France's answer to "The Hangover" (2009). Lacheau then took on the same duties for "Babysitting 2" (2015), the equally successful sequel which saw Franck and his buddies disappear during an Amazon adventure.
