Richard Ashcroft brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Ashcroft worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "David" (1996-97), "Nowhere" (1997) starring James Duval and "Sliver" with Sharon Stone (1993). He also contributed to "The Young Indiana Jones: Attack of the Hawkmen" (Family Channel Studios, 1995-96). In the nineties, Ashcroft's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the dramatic adaptation "Cruel Intentions" (1999) with Sarah Michelle Gellar, "Karaoke Verite" (1999) starring C Depp and "The Acid House" (1999). Ashcroft's music was also featured in the Leonardo DiCaprio dramatic adaptation "The Beach" (2000), "The Girl Next Door" (2004) and the Owen Wilson box office smash dramatic adaptation "Marley & Me" (2008). Ashcroft's music was most recently featured in the sci-fi flick "The Adjustment Bureau" (2011) with Matt Damon.
