Robert Ball

Robert Ball was widely known for his acting on the big screen. Ball had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the horror flick "The Brain Eaters" (1958) with Edwin Nelson, the comedy "Who's Minding the Mint?" (1967) with Jim Hutton and "Madigan" (1968). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the eighties, appearing in the Peter Fonda drama "Easy Rider" (1969), the musical "Zachariah" (1970) with John Rubinstein and the comedy "Get to Know Your Rabbit" (1972) with Tom Smothers. He also appeared in the Walter Matthau musical "Little Miss Marker" (1980). In the eighties through the nineties, Ball lent his talents to projects like "The Nude Bomb" with Don Adams (1980), "Out" (1982) starring Peter Coyote and "Beaches" (1988). His credits also expanded to "Frankie and Johnny" (1991) starring Al Pacino. Ball more recently worked on "Terminal Virus" (Showtime, 1995-96).
