Roger Clark

Roger Clark was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Clark started his acting career landing roles in such films as the Lupe Velez musical comedy "Honolulu Lu" (1941), the mystery "Secrets of the Lone Wolf" (1941) with Warren William and "You Belong to Me" (1941). He also appeared in the dramedy "The Lady Is Willing" (1942) with Marlene Dietrich, the comedy "The Wife Takes a Flyer" (1942) with Joan Bennett and the comedy "They All Kissed the Bride" (1942) with Joan Crawford. He continued to act in productions like "Two Yanks in Trinidad" (1942) with Pat O'Brien, "Girls in Chains" (1943) and "One Dangerous Night" (1943) with Warren William. He also appeared in the Betty Grable musical "Pin-Up Girl" (1944), the Carmen Miranda adaptation "Something For the Boys" (1944) and the Benny Goodman musical "Sweet and Low Down" (1944). In the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in "Detour" (1945), the Salome Jens dramatic adaptation "Angel Baby" (1961) and the dramatic adaptation "Advise and Consent" (1962) with Henry Fonda. Clark was most recently credited in "Zero Hour" (ABC, 2012-13). Clark passed away in October 1978 at the age of 70.
