Sébastien Delorme
Sébastien Delorme worked steadily on the television and theater scenes in his native Canada before earning critical praise as a therapist who oversees a rural community in "The Lion's Path" (2015). The Quebecois actor graduated from the theater program at the Collège Lionel-Groulx in Sainte-Thérèse in 1995 and soon began working on the Canadian theater scene in both classic and modern productions. His television career also blossomed during this period with supporting roles on the soap opera "Watatatow" (CBC, 1991-2005) and the biographical miniseries "Jean Duceppe" (Tele-Quebec, 2002). His feature film debut in the drama "Gaz Bar Blues" (2003), playing the son of a gas station owner (Serge Thériault) struggling to maintain his business and his health. In 2004, he began a seven-year run on the primetime series "The Promise" (TVA, 2004-2011), which earned him a Gemini Award for Best Dramatic Actor in 2008. Television continued to be his primary showcase, most notably through series like "Mirador" (CBC, 2010-11) and the soap "30 Lives" (CBC TV Here, 2011- ). In 2014, he returned to features with a supporting role in the cycling drama "Le Petite Reine" (2014) before earning his breakout screen role as the leader of a cultish community in Stephan Beaudoin's "The Lion's Path."
