Shaun J. Brown
Shaun Brown was born in 1987 in Southern California. Brown fell in love with acting as a teen and performed in a number of productions through high school and college at the University of Miami. His passion landed him in a couple of musical theater productions that toured the US. Looking to make the jump to television and film acting, Brown decided to focus on changing his acting technique and the shift paid off. He earned his first professional on-screen credit in a guest role on the Current TV series "Bar Karma" (Current TV, 2011). It was the first series to attempt a community-driven approach, pioneered by Will Wright, who created "The Sims" and "Spore" video games. With a foot in the door, Brown continued to push, appearing in guest roles on a number of series, including "Bunheads" (ABC, 2012-2012) and "Switched at Birth" (Freeform, 2011-17), and a few recurring roles on "The First Family" (Syndicated, 2012-2015) and "The Newsroom" (HBO, 2012-2014). In 2016, Brown appeared in his first series regular role as junior writer Mason on the workplace sitcom "The Great Indoors" (CBS, 2016-).
