Shelbie Bruce

Bruce began appearing in small roles in several television shows, including the dramas "Providence" in 2002 and "ER" in 2004, and was a voice actress in the 2004 television film "The Mystery of Natalie Wood." She caught her big break with her role in the 2004 comedy-drama film "Spanglish," starring opposite Adam Sandler, Téa Leoni and Paz Vega as the bilingual daughter of a Mexican housekeeper. Her supporting role in the film earned her an Imagen Award and a nomination for the Young Artist Award. Following the film, Bruce continued to take small roles in television shows, including the family series "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" in 2005, the family drama "Lincoln Heights" in 2008 and the popular comedy "Cougar Town" in 2010. In addition to her work in films and television shows, Bruce has appeared as an actress in numerous commercials and as a catalog model for various clothing brands. The home-schooled actress also pursues her interests in singing in her spare time. Not content to rest on her laurels, Bruce launched her own jewelry and accessories line in 2006 and created her own perfume in 2007.
