Stella Maris
Stella Maris was an actress who founded her entertainment career success with roles in film. Maris found her beginnings in film with roles in the mystery "Nelly's Version" (1983) with Eileen Atkins, the Lenny Von Dohlen romance "Electric Dreams" (1984) and the Michael York drama "Success Is the Best Revenge" (1984). Later, Maris acted in "Die Kinder" (1990-91), the romantic comedy "Truly Madly Deeply" (1991) with Juliet Stevenson and the drama "Under the Sun" (1992) with Kate Hardie. She also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Hilary and Jackie" (1998) with Emily Watson and "Bambino Mio" (BBC, 2001-02). More recently, Maris appeared in "The Virgin Queen" (2005-06).
