Tracy Chapman
Recognized throughout the music industry for her creative lyrics and catchy tunes, singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman is a force to be reckoned with as an entertainer. A regular on the awards show circuit, she made an appearance on "The 31st Annual Grammy Awards" (1988-89). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Freedomfest: Nelson Mandela's 70th Birthday Celebration" (1987-88), "The Human Rights Now Tour" (1988-89) and "Motown 30: What's Goin' On!" (1990-91). Chapman worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "ABC in Concert" (1990-98). As a composer, Chapman created music for "MTV Rewind" (1989-1990). A regular on the awards show circuit, she made an appearance on "The 28th NAACP Image Awards" (1996-97). She worked on "New York Undercover" (1994-98) and "Reverb" (1996-2002) in the nineties. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Farm Aid V" (1991-92) and "The Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary Celebration" (1992-93). She also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "New York Undercover" (1994-98) and "Reverb" (1996-2002). She also appeared at "The 39th Annual Grammy Awards" (1996-97). Chapman also contributed music to "Grammy's Greatest Performances" (1999-2000) and the Anne Hathaway dramatic adaptation "One Day" (2011). Most recently, Chapman appeared in "The 35th Annual Kennedy Center Honors" (2012-13). Tracy Chapman performed "Fast Car" with country music star Luke Combs at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
