William Fruet

William Fruet directed a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career, showing his versatility as a director. Fruet worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "125 Rooms of Comfort" (1974), "Death Weekend" (1976) and "Rip-Off" (1971). He also contributed to "Search & Destroy" (1981), "Slipstream" (1974) starring Luke Askew and "Wedding in White" (1973) starring Carol Kane. He continued to work in film in the eighties, directing motion pictures like "Spasms" (1986) with Peter Fonda, the horror feature "Killer Party" (1986) with Martin Hewitt and the Dayle Haddon suspenseful mystery "Bedroom Eyes" (1986). He also appeared in the Steve Railsback horror flick "Blue Monkey" (1987). Shifting to the small screen in more recent years, Fruet directed a number of television programs, including "Poltergeist: The Legacy" (Syfy, 1995-2000) and "Animorphs" (Nickelodeon, 1998-2000). Most recently, Fruet directed "Imaginary Playmate" (Lifetime Movie Network, 2006-07).
