David Walsh World Socialist Web Site The film is useful for pointing out not merely the complicity of American intelligence in the crimes of the Trujillo gangster regime ... but the agency's unhesitating readiness to liquidate US citizens who threaten its operations Feb 16, 2021 Full Review Robin Clifford Reeling Reviews What could have been a dynamic political thriller is, at best, a mildly interesting story that never gets beyond two dimensions. Rated: D+ Nov 10, 2003 Full Review Laura Clifford Reeling Reviews There is no mystery -- everyone seems to pretty much know what happened to Galindez, yet they keep trying to find out. Audience Member Good acting performances, but a plot very hard to get into. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was ok. I didn't like the ending though. Interesting movie about some spanish guy named Jesus Galindez who is in politics and mysteriously gets kidnapped and killed. Then there is this lady professor who is doing research on him to find out what exactly happened to him-what lead to his death. 6/10 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Excelente pelicula, relata una historial real, que todavia se tiene sin resolver. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Really intense, suspenseful.... overall good. I did, however, think that Saffron Burrows blew as the main character. As a result, it did drag in some places. Penelope Cruz would have been better. Nonetheless, if you like suspense with a bit of gore... this is your kind of movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Another movie in the RT database twice, so figured I should write a review for both. I did not think this movie was ever going to end. It is slow, painfully boring and very uninvolving. The cast does well, but they aren't good enough to salvage this stinker.
