Audience Member This movie reminds me of one of those 70's kung fu movies, in which every 3 minutes there was a kung-fu fight with complete disregard for the plot. Which by the way is the same concept used in porn films. Everything is a mess of a movie, for one, the film tries to delve into serious subjects like parallel universes, meaning of life, etc. But they probably just watched a couple of YouTube videos and learned everything from those videos. It is one interminable endless sequences of kung-fu fighting over and over, mixed with some high school ideas about the universe. And just when you thought you had seen everything they introduce two rocks, yes, two rocks, in the middle of nowhere talking about the meaning of life. And then more kung-fu fights and to make matters worse, they borrow from the cartoon ratatouille, to introduce a cook who has a rack on its head and is controlled by the animal. Also, it feels that the editing "between universes" was done by a tik-tok editor. This movie has been billed as sci-fi, and it is not. Is not a comedy, and it's not an action movie. It is basically a mish-mash of half-baked ideas, enough for you to not care about it. It is the first fim in really long time in which I had seriously though about getting my money back. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow, long drawn out, and deep. Believable ? The plot is explained near the end, but hardly worth the wait. Don't watch this film if you are trying to quit smoking ! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Simple, but always intriguing story for the mystery of Ray Winstone's character, although the robust personality of the prostitute he is obsessing with is also a strong element of the film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member A refreshing film!!?? Interesting, Sad & thoughtful and different Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Everything is understood at the end :O Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I actually thought this was a Mike Leigh film - it definitely has that gritty feel to it. This is the story of a middle aged married man who starts visiting a prostitute just to talk to her and try to understand why she does what she does. You later find out why he is so interested, but at first he comes across like he's a pervert. Jan Graveson is excellent as the aging Naomi, who is at the end of her career, not necessarily by choice but by age. The movie does make you wonder what became of her afterwards. A good film that I liked, didn't love. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
