Test T It's ok I suppose, but I would not want to watch it again. It's not really my kind of movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/02/23 Full Review jon c One interview is all it takes to know the real story Steve Buscemi stars and directs next to Sienna Miller based on an original Dutch film He stars as a political reporter Pierre assigned by his editor to interview a lovely actress Her name is Katya, and he's writing a puff piece attempting to figure out why she is the way she is They both go back to her apartment after a small car accident Katya has been the source of tabloid news but she may not be as dim-witted as most make her out to be Pierre manages to pick her brain as does she Over the course of one night they both learn about one another yet not in the most welcoming way Both of them have something to hide and to be ashamed of The film works brilliantly having both leads full of chemistry with the whole thing being confined to one space Not the sharpest screenplay but Miller and Buscemi bounce terrifically off of each other Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Demetris A Too redundant and convoluted and absurd.. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/15/20 Full Review Audience Member Steve Buscemi's Trees Lounge is one of my favourite movies: a charming free-wheeling low-key romance between an ice-cream salesman and a pubescent girl. This remake of a Dutch film by Theo van Gogh suffers from a lack of chemistry between Buscemi and Sienna Miller and an overworked script that puts plot before plausibility. It's a shame because it's never less than wàtchable and occasionally very good. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The critics be damned, this is a great piece of work by Steve Buscemi and Sienna Miller is wonderful. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent acting, minimalist production (efficient, hence profitable). Confusing ending for some viewers? Ben Kenigsberg Time Out Rated: 3/5 Nov 18, 2011 Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard Interview is well-made but depends almost entirely on its acting. Neither of the two principals let it down, even when the screenplay isn't quite as sharp as it could have been. Rated: 3/5 Nov 2, 2007 Full Review Anthony Quinn Independent (UK) It pretends to be about the games of deceit that go on between men and women, but it's really just a squib on the culture of celebrity, and the cynical conclusion that's meant to pull us up short is feeble and silly beyond patience. Rated: 2/5 Nov 2, 2007 Full Review Mariló García Cinemanía (Spain) A surprising plot.
