Joshua Rothkopf Time Out Rated: 1/5 Nov 17, 2011 Full Review Mark Olsen Los Angeles Times Gleefully brimming with body parts and bad behavior, Pathology is a fun piece of flamboyant tastelessness. Rated: 3/5 Apr 25, 2008 Full Review Peter Debruge Variety Like its characters, the pic is too clever for its own good, allowing the meticulously researched scenario to be undone by implausible behavior and gaping plot holes. Apr 23, 2008 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review [The] concept is intriguing but, written by the makers of Crank, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the result zooms past implausible and retains an orbit around convoluted. Michael P It's got some ignorant characters in it. Half of the "doctors" are too stupid to be allowed close to a chalk board let alone autopsy a body. But......if you ignore that major problem with the plot and the obnoxious unlikelyhood that somebody with such a promising future would go along with their little game then thr moving is awesome. Pretty bonkers really. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/11/24 Full Review Glenn B Know you know why I don't truss doctors Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Colin M Silly improbable movie about murderous autopsy workers. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/04/24 Full Review Nicole C Terrible movie. Terrible plot. Decent acting though. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review stoner j Wow what a nutsy crazy ass outrageous horror flick, I love it! Nothing like it whatsoever that's for sure. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Pathology is a well-structured, well-researched and gritty little movie. I'm not even sure how to classify it, as it is to dark and foreboding to be a Drama, too light to be classified as a Thriller, and has a lot of Black Comedy but this isn't nearly enough of an element to be front-and-center, so more than almost any other movie I can think of, I can't actually categorize it. However, it is smart, entertaining, well-cast, well-acted and well-edited - If you like a good Independent style, slow-burn thriller about human psychology, I'd strongly recommend this one, as it's quite solid, and vastly better than Split or Glass (especially Glass...my god..). The big thing to keep in mind is that this movie has a LOT of gore, living and dead, to the point that I'm almost surprised it didn't get an NC-17 rating, so keep in mind that I'm strongly recommending it only for those that have the stomach for it. If you do, then this is an unknown gem. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
