Wayne K One of those British sexploitation films that was no doubt very cheeky back in its day but now looks dated and cheesy, Fun & Games (or 1,000 Convicts & A Woman for our American cousins) is bolstered by a charmingly evil and manipulative lead performance from Alexandra Hay, a seventeen year old girl fresh from an overseas boarding school who wastes no time seducing and teasing every red blooded man she comes across in the nations laxest prison. While repetitive at times, the film does give us time to delve into Angela’s psyche. She makes no apologies about being precocious, flirtatious and always willing to use her looks and sex appeal to get what, and who, she wants. But the film doesn’t try to justify what she does, and she almost always faces some kind of consequence for her actions. It’s also nice that not ever man falls for her gestures, since they have the good sense to see they’re being led on. It’s hard to know if she’s learned anything by the end, but it’s fun to watch her seductive attempts fall short and receive a richly deserved reprimand for her tempting behaviour. If you’re after some silly fun with classic British smut, then Fun & Games might just do it for you. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/25/25 Full Review Read all reviews
