Stephen C LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member It's not "great cinema", but is it better than you initally thought. Worth watching for Jessica Paré alone, but the musician cameos and various musical homages add to the fun. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is amazing, one of my favorites. It’s an original horror comedy with legendary rock stars like Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper etc. Plot: Success eludes members of a struggling rock band, until their bassist (Jessica Paré) goes home with a pale-looking fan and comes back a vampire. It also includes from time to time musical breaks. The soundtrack to this movie is amazing, I listen to it Monday thru Friday on my way to and from work. I gave it five stars for originality, comedy and horror. If you love vampire comedies this is the movie you should definitely check out! ❤️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👏 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/27/21 Full Review Audience Member I loved this movie; howlingly funny. EVERY 1 in this shines. The rock musicians were a pleasant surprise, especially those playing against type compared to their public persona, like Moby & Henry Rollins. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Ignore the snottiest reviews. This is a super fun take on Vampires. The cameos are a scream. I highly recommend 'Suck.' Tom Russo Boston Globe [Not] to be confused with the current Twilight-glomming insta-spoof Vampires Suck -- but that doesn't mean it's an altogether sharper comedy, either. Rated: 1.5/4 Sep 2, 2010 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety An indie-rock-scene satire (plus vampires) whose songlist vastly outweighs its laugh (let alone scare) quotient. Jul 6, 2010 Full Review Shelagh Rowan-Legg That Shelf Stefaniuk's directorial strengths lie in his creation of aesthetic...and mood. When the film is not self-conscious, it is extremely funny and while the subtext is noticeable, it's not overwhelming. May 18, 2018 Full Review National Post Rated: 1/4 Aug 2, 2010 Full Review Chris Bumbray JoBlo's Movie Network Like the obscure Vampire musical, ROCKULA- but, you know-good. Rated: 7.5/10 Jul 27, 2010 Full Review Luke Y. Thompson Geekweek Cameos from the likes of Alice Cooper, Henry Rollins, Moby, Iggy Pop, and Alex Lifeson would seem to indicate that this is something to watch...instead, they clue us in that these no-longer-young rockers will apparently do anything for a buck.
