Elli N I do get the criticism towards The Final, but honestly i enjoyed a it more than most. It's truly a movie of its time, with really bad caricatures of what gen x thinks teenagers nowadays act, but it's clear you're not really supposed to be rooting for anybody in this movie. The buildup before they start murdering popular kids is a big long, but i did enjoy seeing the five main outcasts bond and seeing how close they all are to each other. People have complained about the minimal use of gore in the kills, but honestly i think the lack of it adds to the horror of the situation, just the sounds of what they're doing is enough to make me squirm but that could just be a me thing. I do love the repeating question of "what did i do to deserve this?" throughout the movie, as someone who really likes when specific phrases are repeated in movies to drill in a certain message. Overall it's not the best 'revenge' movie i've seen, but it's just enough that i will rewatch it and want to get on DVD. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/25 Full Review Christian K Mostly annoying characters on all sides and spends the majority of its runtime spinning its wheels in place, with minimal scares, gore, or tension to back it up. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/27/24 Full Review Siobhan R Good God this was almost painful to watch. The last time I cringed this hard was when I watched a movie with a sex scene in it with my parents! Yeah! This movie was that bad! The only way I can describe this is if early 2000's Disney channel and a bunch of baby boomers teamed up and decided to make a horror movie based on all the stereotypes made about teenagers and highschool Spare yourself the pain and suffering that is this movie because it will make you cringe so hard that you go into cardiac arrest. I honestly wish I could take my brain out and wash it to get rid of the memory of watching this 😬 0/5 stars Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/29/24 Full Review Trevor B The Final was amazing!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/22/24 Full Review Liam D There are some elements of this movie that are intense and suspenseful but this thriller does fall into the torture porn traps Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/26/24 Full Review James M Great revenge movies. Freaks and Geeks torture the cheeseballs! Love it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/31/24 Full Review Read all reviews
