Sean M Oct 19 It’s a fun watch that’s all I gotta say See more Aug 10 This was ok up until they took off their masks, then it was dumb. getting to close to the bullies with the weapons, would've backfired in real life. Not enough torture and too much standing around. If your going to commit Harry Carry anyways you might as well take out the preppies and Jocks first. See more Jose P Jul 30 This movie is so poorly delivered that it's the first time I've ever been on the bully's side in a film. Hilariously bad, only gave half a star because I was cracking up the whole runtime. See more Jules O Mar 23 I really didn't know what to expect based on the description. It could've gone a million ways. I can tell you I watched this movie with a grin. I imagined I was there and so were my tormentors. It was a fun fantasy to imagine, knowing no one was actually getting hurt. Bad acting and some overacting? Sure. I didn't watch it because I thought it Oscar worthy. To discover there is some truth behind the story was not surprising. Made it even more relatable. It's truly a movie of its time, with really bad caricatures of what gen x thinks teenagers nowadays act, but it's clear you're not really supposed to be rooting for anybody in this movie. The buildup before they start murdering popular kids is a big long, but i did enjoy seeing the five main outcasts bond and seeing how close they all are to each other. People have complained about the minimal use of gore in the kills, but honestly i think the lack of it adds to the horror of the situation, just the sounds of what they're doing is enough to make me squirm but that could just be a me thing. I do love the repeating question of "what did i do to deserve this?" throughout the movie, as someone who really likes when specific phrases are repeated in movies to drill in a certain message. Overall it's not the best 'revenge' movie i've seen, but it's just enough that i will rewatch it and want to get on DVD. See more Christian K @ckacar 09/27/2024 Mostly annoying characters on all sides and spends the majority of its runtime spinning its wheels in place, with minimal scares, gore, or tension to back it up.
