Jamie Righetti indieWire The story might be familiar, but watching The Grinch tiptoe around to "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" always brings a surge of fuzzy nostalgia every Christmas season that never seems to get old. Nov 30, 2018 Full Review AV Club Staff AV Club The special works because of its surprisingly sentimental climax, one that comes by its emotion honestly, as the Grinch realizes the Christmas spirit is indomitable, no matter what he does to stop it. Nov 21, 2018 Full Review TIME Magazine This lusty, garishly colored, good-hearted cartoon was a wonderful, awful idea. Aug 31, 2008 Full Review Laura Bradley The Daily Beast Simply put, a life without this holiday classic would’ve stink, stank, stunk. Dec 5, 2022 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn This a classic cartoon that is straight to the point. I love this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/24 Full Review Forged S You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch🎶 So, I'm opening up strong with a couple of classic movies, this time from my spirit animal, The Grinch, or is it Mr. Grinch? A playful kids movie, and holiday tradition for many this film has transcended the medium and now "Grinch," like the character's inspiration, "Scrooge" is a term for someone who tries to ruin something for someone else, specifically the Christmas holiday. Never been much of a fan for the commercialization of the holiday, as I feel we've forgotten the true wholesome meaning of the holiday. It isn't about what we get or what we give. It's about looking at Christmas lights, putting up the tree, and making cookies, in other words, spending time with family. Is this movie part of your annual traditions? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/10/24 Full Review Leticia q I love grinch, I may obey grinch's rules to steal Christmas, and now Christmas is gone Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Read all reviews
