It's got a great premise, with an amazing comedic cast, but it ultimately doesn't do anything very interesting with all these great elements. It's entertaining enough to pass the time with, but with these ingredients on hand, this should've been hilarious.

Well. Probably won't be watching this again anytime soon. It was funny and all, but kinda boring tbh. The most redeeming factor was Peter Boyle's Jesus complex, which used to have a great comedic effect throughout the film. Michael Keaton was alright, kinda boring too tho. Idk, it just didn't jibe with me yk? It is very well executed, just not a task/story I want to see done. An appreciable use of 2 hours of my time, but there are maaaaaany movies I would much rather watch than this. 63/100. Not bad. that about sums it up. Prolly won't watch again.

There were a lot of "the crazies have escaped" type films in the late 80s and early 90s but this one at least has a little more imagination and a good ensemble cast. Good pace, not too long. Worth a Saturday night.

Discussing the flaws in this otherwise enjoyable film is futile, as condemnation from the politically correct crowd drown out any legit criticism.
