Maria Garcia Film Journal International In the end, the treatment of women and the actions of the fundamentalist gangsters give the film an oppressive air, so much so that even the music is no longer transcendent. Audience Member I watched this film in a university French class, and I loved it. I found it gave me a different insight into the Maghreban people in France than I received from the film «Inch'Allah dimanche ». Sure, it covered a different period of time, but one must see how things have changed in France.
