william k Pretty bad catastrophe movie with very poor special effects and the star cast laid to waste. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Bought it at a yard sale, and over paid $1. This poorly conceived film contains amateurish acting from well know actors, shabbily written dialog, and is shamefully divergent from the original novel by Charles Nordoff and James Norman Hall. It is simply awful. One star is overly generous. Jan Troell is normally such a magnificent director. This is one slow moving film. Mia Farrow stinks, the rest of the cast isn?t much better. Visually it is quite beautiful, and technically speaking it is fine, but dramatically it is greatly lacking. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member What happened? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member ** (out of four) Mia Farrow and Jason Robards are a daughter and father who reunite in Bora Bora. She begins an affair with a local native...and wouldn't you know it...but a huge hurricane is headed right for them. The romance is pretty silly and only a time filler while we wait for the inevitable storm to arrive. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
