Blake E Went to the theater and seen this with my dad and younger brother when I was a kid. I was probably 12 years old. Great fun movie with a lot of heart. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/14/24 Full Review Sam C Underrated gem within Stallone's filmography. Bill Conti's score added a lot to this film. Stallone was great. Donald Sutherland as the antagonist was excellent, you felt a genuine disdain towards him. I'd also say this is one of Tom Sizemore's best performances. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/01/24 Full Review ChrisCSH H Lock up is Sylvester Stallones , prison breakout film, which certainly doesn't create anything new that wasn't done before but overall the film is a gritty and violent at times. it's also a fairly fun couple hours but unfortunately doesn't do anything new and at times is clichéd and generic and predictable, but still it brings that old 80s vibe to it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/07/23 Full Review Aqib Mikail z My favourite stallone movie by far. Great music, great cinematography, great acting, great action, great 'guy' moments. Seen this film many times, is defo a movie you can watch again and again. Can't believe the score is so low on this website... Give it a go, you won't regret it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/29/23 Full Review Daniel M Cheesy 80's movie with a terrible story that doesn't age well. It's just fun seeing an old school Stallone movie so at least I finished the movie and enjoyed bits of it lol Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/10/23 Full Review Marko S Good movie with a great soundtrack Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

[Full review in Spanish] Jul 12, 2022 Full Review Andrew Gaudion VultureHound Lock Up maybe a little too cliched and heavy-handed to mark itself as a classic of the prison drama sub-genre, but as a piece of 80's action drama, it has its pleasures. Rated: 3/5 Aug 28, 2020 Full Review Matt Brunson Creative Loafing The summer of 1989 was the summer of Batman, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Lethal Weapon 2 and several other sizable hits, so who in their right mind wanted to waste time and money on a generic Stallone prison flick? Rated: 1.5/4 Sep 13, 2012 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures has more in common with the litany of weak films from the 90s than with his powerful flicks Rated: 2/5 Aug 15, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews
