Michael H. The wife said this movie was a classic?! So I watched it with her and neither one of us remembered ever seeing it before. This movie is definitely not a classic. Not a terrible story but the characters and acting was not good. Anthony’s character went from a country boy stupid and new to the big city to an action hero by the end of the film. It's full of mad 80s cheese, but between the dated visuals and soundtrack, it's a nostalgic kick. It's also interesting seeing Anthony Michael Hall at such a young age. It makes me feel young, but old. It's very unrealistic on many levels. No wonder it didn't do so great at the box office. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it as a kid and it was worth seeing it again.
