So I watched it with her and neither one of us remembered ever seeing it before. This movie is definitely not a classic. Not a terrible story but the characters and acting was not good. Anthony’s character went from a country boy stupid and new to the big city to an action hero by the end of the film. Pass on this movie. See more paul s 04/08/2022 I like it because it's bonafide LA in the 80s. It's full of mad 80s cheese, but between the dated visuals and soundtrack, it's a nostalgic kick. It's also interesting seeing Anthony Michael Hall at such a young age. It makes me feel young, but old. It's very unrealistic on many levels. No wonder it didn't do so great at the box office. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it as a kid and it was worth seeing it again.
