Nell Minow Common Sense Media This is Disney at its finest. Rated: 5/5 Dec 27, 2010 Full Review TIME Magazine Pollyanna emerges on the wide screen as the best live-actor movie Disney has ever made: a Niagara of drivel and a masterpiece of smarm. Nick S Surprisingly inspiring and useful even in real life. It does have a very "cheap" emotional ending but I suppose those were the times and strategies used. Good movie overall, glad to have watched it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Dale R First Disney movie of many that features Hayley Mills. I actually really liked this movie and would recommend checking it out. It does start a little slow, but once Pollyanna opens up and starts talking with the rest of the town it really picked up and kept my interest. The ending was a little dark, but they made it as Disney as they could while keeping the intent. Of the live action movies to this date I believe this one is the best. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Lanfranco C When Disney made nice movies Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/18/24 Full Review Russell H Overly long but it has its charm. The lead roll does a great job. I was slightly bored. A lot of these older disney films are slow. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/13/23 Full Review Eye C If only Disney put an ounce of the heart now, as it put it back then. This movie movie make me cry hard, such a lovely and moving picture, how far off we all are as a humanity. We got to think it over, we have to learn from Pollyanna. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/20/23 Full Review Ron T Wonderful movie, great family move before Walt Disney became evil Disney, gone woke and groomers Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
