SICKS6SIX what a great film with some great actors in it, Cagney at his best with support from actors on top form, laughing, crying. sniggering and coughing, it's got the lot, set in a bar with characters like you find in bars, dim wit's, done it all's, wanna be's. crazy cop's. crazier crook's. watch and learn how to make a film worth watching 60 years later ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/10/21 Full Review Audience Member Well intended, but I can understand why it flopped. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member reminded me of 'barfly' Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review ashley h The Time of Your Life is an enjoyable film. It is about the wide variety of persons who come into Nick's Pacific Street Saloon. James Cagney and William Bendix give excellent performances. The screenplay is good but seems a little slow in places. H.C. Potter did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the humor and drama. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the few movies that make you feel hopeful after you see it and want to see the good in people.
