It does have some interesting time travel ideas, as scientists create a time portal, and literally step into the future. They find an underground colony of post apocalyptic humans preparing for interstellar escape. It's 107 years into the future, but 1960's hairstyles still prevail, and it seems the colony is made up of mostly adult white people and androids.
