      Critics Consensus

Despite the seemingly indestructible Dolph Lundgren with a crossbow, The Punisher is a boring one-man battle with never-ending action scenes.

Sebastian L I wish I liked this at least in a comically entertaining way, but unfortunately it's an ill concieved, poorly structured yawn of a movie. Lundgren tries so hard to be a tough guy but it's just weird. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/23 Full Review Hernando U Despite best score for 2004 version, I think the Dolph Lundgren's Punisher is dark and action packed movie, also villains are great. I love this version. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/28/23 Full Review Andre Q Esqueça tudo que sabe de ruim sobre Punisher. Dolph Lundgren precisa passar e chutar algumas bundas. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/15/23 Full Review David W I'm not sure if the writers of this had ever actually read a Punisher graphic novel as its really only loosely based on Marvels anti-hero character. It's violent, in a comic book, unrealistic way but that said its very well made and still a damn enjoyable 80's action movie with the unstoppable Dolph racking up a body count in the hundreds. If I was a criminal in the Punisher's vicinity I'd be seriously rethinking my life choices :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/05/23 Full Review andrius y una aburrida película noventera que pretende tener acción pero decepciona en ello ,malas actuaciones y secuencias de acción y pelea incluso para la época ,se noto el bajo presupuesto, enserio pensé que era solo una película que no se basaba en el personaje de marvel pero siendo así lo la hace aun mas mediocre enserio ese es frank castle-punisher?.mi único elogio a esta película es que e visto peores.
