Myname P I know that this movie isn’t for everyone, but it will hit certain people a certain way. It tells a story of youth, vanity, jealousy, sensual love, intense love, toxic love. The kind that can haunt a person long after it’s over. The actors are so beautiful, their chemistry is amazing, and they do an outstanding job of letting us spy on their passionate and volatile relationship. It has a quietness - a quiet pain that lingers and made me feel. I rather love this movie. In my dream life, a sequel is made… showing these two interact many years later, intermixed with clips of their youth. How interesting that would be for me. But in its absence, I sometimes rewatch this movie, and I feel it every time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/09/24 Full Review Alain E I have watched tons of art films with slow development, but I found this one totally unwatchable after 20 minutes. The opening is inventive. There are short sequences between sets of credits. Something notable is that there are four(!) film editors. Usually there is just one, rarely two. Probably four were necessary to sort up this mess. But, according to the audience reviews, the movie spoke to some people. So, since it is free on Tubi, you can try it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/08/24 Full Review Audience Member One of my favorite movies. I wish it would come out on DVD. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Melodramatic? Yes. If you've ever wanted to watch a poem...this is your film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved this movie---so much passion and intensity. Trying to find it on DVD!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A fascinating portrait of a woman trying to make sense of her life and her past. Great performances by all, with a beautiful and haunting score. It's an uncommonly quiet and understated film. It's also nonlinear storytelling that's rooted in nonlinear reflection, not merely an excuse for there not being a story to tell! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
