CodyZamboni A cheesy, silly, dumb, cheap mess, but it is watchable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/28/23 Full Review Audience Member "Earth vs. the Spider" is an entertaining movie. That's pretty much it right there. Nothing more needs to be said. It has a decent script even for a movie of this kind. The cast actually does a very good job in their respective roles. Love how the two teenage leads are named Carol and Mike by the way. The cast is why I am giving the movie a slightly higher rating that the two starts I had planned. That noise the spider makes when it approaches is odd to say the least. Sounds like the spider lost its asthma inhaler. The special effects are not too bad either. Not terrific, but good for the most part. In the end, if you are looking for something entertaining "Earth vs. the Spider" will provide what you are looking for, but you will probably forget about it soon thereafter. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review deke p Risible! RIDICULOUS. Another of those horrible (bad) 'horror' films of the 50s, the kind we used to watch & laff at even when showed in 1960's TV. Would rate it even lower but it's 'camp'. SKIP YOUNG (Knott's Berry Farm theater, Wally in Ozzie & Harriet, etc., in minor role. Saw parts a few times, & again on Christmas eve 2021, on SVENGOOLIE Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Blobbo laugh til egg sack hurt. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review delysid d alright the spider is really lame but if you use some imagination, its not a bad watch Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/19 Full Review Audience Member I won't hop on the bandwagon and Hate this movie, It's just that this film just never really goes anywhere, the spider appears, attacks and gets killed. That's it. And half of time it's just a process shot behind put together with actors. It's just was a film that could be done right but wasn't.
