Slither is a suspense comedy that keeps promising to be a knockout entertainment; it never delivers, and it finally fizzles out, because the story idea isn't as good as the curlicues. Go to Full Review

Zieff would rather go for good moments than construct an over-all structure. So the movie is heavy on moments, light on structure, and that's OK. Go to Full Review

Slither peters out to a fairly palpable degree once it progresses into its meandering and often excessively quirky midsection and second half... Go to Full Review

Ron P Nov 8 I seen this movie in the movies when I was a kid with a another movie which I forgot the title. In those days there were a lot of double and triple features. Anyway, I thought this was so entertaining . Especially Sally kellerman's character. Peter Boyle was phenomenal and of course James caan was as well. Funny , quirky , offbeat , action , thriller this movie has everything. Extremely entertaining. I miss the 1970s type of comedies such as this movie, freebie and the Bean with James cahn as well , and countless others such as Kentucky fried movie, all the Peter sellers movies etc, and the Woody Allen movies. I seen all of them in the movies when I was younger. Fun era, fun times , I miss them. Id do just about anything for 1970s New York City again and to live in this era and repeat it again. The movies were great in that era, The club scene, and 8th avenue and 42nd Street in New York where I seen all of these movies will never be duplicated. We used to call it 40 Deuce. LOL We used to get a nickel bag and drink some beers on 40 Deuce and go see two or three movies then eat at Tad's steakhouse. LOL Very very cheap steak but it was a good in that time.
