D'Artagnan (Chris O'Donnell) travels to Paris hoping to become a musketeer, one of the French king's elite bodyguards, only to discover that the corps has been disbanded by conniving Cardinal Richelieu (Tim Curry), who secretly hopes to usurp the throne. Fortunately, Athos (Kiefer Sutherland), Porthos (Oliver Platt) and Aramis (Charlie Sheen) have refused to lay down their weapons and continue to protect their king. D'Artagnan joins with the rogues to expose Richelieu's plot against the crown.

The reviews on this movie seem to review other renditions of this story. The 1993 classic, starring Charly Sheen, Chris O'Donnell, Oliver Platt etc is a fantastic action-comedy. The characters are well rounded and the storyline is clear. The delivery is fantastic. The movie is family friendly and highly recommended.

Diznee ruins another classic. Ninjas in 17th century France? The 4 leads are terrible. Mugging for the cameras as if this is some inside joke. Kids might like it but anybody who has read Dumas will hate what hokeywood did to this classic.
