Audience Member a distinctly Russian film that carries itself more on implications and symbolism than the actual story. The dark comedy/family drama of three generations of dysfunctional Soviet women is, in my opinion, frightfully annoying and lacking in any real depth or purpose. when viewed as a subtly-crafted parable for the history of the Soviet Union, however, it becomes a much more lucid, thought-provoking film. Very effective, affecting family dramedy. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
