Here is another movie I saw back in the 90's thinking it was good...only to rewatch it and discover that it is pretty bad. Laurence Fishburne is solid in his role, but the plot is very thin. I still don't even fully know what the plot of this movie is, but I can't waste anymore time thinking about this turd of a movie.

This suave and studied noir film exudes dark cool of its self assured overrated CIA operators plotting constantly on guard but they are ultimately all taken down by a broken hearted mistress and they never see it coming or did they but Bad luck as much as bad company brings them down. I'd see it again. Read Roger Erberts review. He has it all. Neo Film Noir at its best.

poor thriller which claims to be twisty and unpredictable but honestly with a film with this many twists it is boring and silly. fishburne is wasted and the stand out cast walk around uttering badly written dialogue. a film with so much going for it falls apart with its slow story and poor writing.
