Audience Member The actual TT race part of this film is quite brilliant for the time and genuinely almost exciting. The stunt riders must've been mad back then. Unfortunately, the hour or so leading up to the race itself is rather dull, with scattered singing. Nowhere near as funny as Keep Your Seats, Please, but sort of amusing in a different way. Apart from Silver Dream Racer, I can't think of any other MotoGP-related films so this is about as good as it gets. 6/10. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Simple but effective comedy Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member George Formby wasn't one for altering a winning formula - slapstick, romance, gurning, singing, ukulele-playing etc - but whilst No Limit of course contains all these staples it is arguably the most memorable of his films thanks to the motorcycle racing, parts of which are quite hardcore considering the lighthearted nature of the film - one bike exploding, another taking its rider over a cliff! Yes the film is old fashioned ("A black man in my boarding house?! The very idea!!") but of all Formby's efforts, this is my personal favourite.
