A beautiful young woman diagnosed with leukemia, Lam (Kelly Chan) falls for Ted (Michael Wong), a sailor from Scotland, but the two separate when she isn't willing to return with him to his homeland. Later, Lam meets the oddly named Mr. Worm (Takeshi Kaneshiro), who runs a company specializing in unusual investigations, and she decides to enlist his help in tracking Ted down. As Lam and Mr. Worm travel the globe, they form a surprisingly close bond.

It's cute, not cheesy, well made, well acted, not extraordinary but enjoyable. The only thing that bothered me a little was the "Scottish" guy's tendency to mix Chinese and English all the time, and the fact that he spoke with an accent that was clearly American and not Scottish at all. But that wasn't really important, on the whole I liked it. This one was an example. In addition to the unrealistic & surreal backdrop, the stories (writing) using, in the middle, to compare & contrast the main plotline about Kelly Chen are not delicate enough, thus makes the film looking rather loose & patching.
