Audience Member So Martin's mom dies, his friends help him out so he won't go into an orphanage, romance blossoms between scrawny Martin and a girl who's fatter and taller, man.... the story just keeps getting weirder and weirder when you continue watching. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Okay French film about a fatherless boy who's mother has just died. He doesn't want to be sent to an orphanage and soon his friends and schoolmates discover of the death. Together the group try to hide the death from the town. It's pretty decent, the kids are all great (however the lead who's mom had died acts a bit too passive and sort of mopey, I wish he had show more emotion). Honestly, it sort of dragged near the end, I knew how it was gonna end, I just wish it had gotten to quicker. Despite its flaws, its an original story, had some clever moments, and really wasn't too bad. It just had potential to be excellent. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A strange situation, but excellently carried out. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Not my favourite French film but passable. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews
