It starts to go awry in frenetic Vegas, when you realize that things happen because the screenplay it, not from any internal logic. It's the whatever school of filmmaking. "Go" has its pleasures, but I didn't really believe a word of it. Go to Full Review

Tickled. That's the square old word that comes to mind in response to the self-consciously hip Go. Go to Full Review

Frenetic, audaciously structured and plot-heavy, packed with enough incident for at least three films. Go to Full Review

Doug Liman stitches together a hip jigsaw puzzle of a film with sharp dialogue, cinematic pinnace, and interwoven storylines.... Think of it as a 'Pulp Fiction' for the twentysomething LA underground scene. Go to Full Review

Told from the perspective of several characters, you’ll get rave scenes, car chases, Breakfast Club references, a killer soundtrack, and even a talking cat. It’s fun, chaotic, and an oddly poignant capturing of life on the brink of Y2K. Go to Full Review

Jack F @MovieFan111 Nov 17 This is one my my favorite movies. But, it takes time to like. For example, I wasn't too fond of it first time around, but second time, it was awesome. What's annoying is that it's really hard to find this movie on RT. You have to look it up on google first in order to find it on the site. This movie should be better known. See more thiago s @Thiagostone Sep 5 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more Le S Aug 24 All the cool movies of the 90s had William Fichtner. Not sure how about 90% of critics gave this a positive review; some of them glowing. Were they on Ecstasy, too, when they saw it? "Pulp Fiction"? This wasn't even "Son of Son of Daughter-in-Law of Pulp Fiction". It's as if the writer and director were best buds, watched some 'one crazy night' 80's flicks and saw "Pulp Fiction" 25 times and thought, "Hey, we can do that". Well, buds...wrong! I love Sarah Polley, and she's fine. Holmes is ok. Jay Rohr is cardboard, as always. Bexton is bad, and somehow actual Brit Askew has a horribly fake sounding British accent. Both very annoying characters, too. It's not all bad, though. There are some very attractive women, a couple quite well 'established'. The score is a good fit for the movie. And the pacing is pretty brisk. But the cliched chase down by the Vegas strip club guys is lame. And the ending is dumb. Are we to believe that Manny is still gonna be there in the same hiding place after days, maybe a week plus, and still alive? 2.5 stars See more Jonathan K Jan 11 The nonlinear storytelling, jumping between characters’ perspectives, is a fun ride that keeps things interesting. It’s got that perfect late-90s vibe that’ll hit you right in the nostalgia if you grew up in that era, but as much as it tries to keep you on your toes, the multiple storylines don’t always land with the impact they’re going for. Some of the characters feel a little undercooked, and by the end, you’re left wondering if you just watched a wild, but ultimately forgettable, rollercoaster. That said, Go is still a good time for what it is -- a fun, unpredictable blaze through one crazy night. If you're in the mood for some frantic '90s energy and don't mind a bit of chaotic storytelling, it’s definitely worth the time. But it probably won't leave a lasting mark. See more Read all reviews
